Much thanks to everyone for their birthday wishes!

I began the day by playing 9 holes of golf with Aunt Linda.  Her and I then went to lunch and then out for ice cream.  Afterwards, my parents and I went to Cuyahoga Falls to go to Irishfest.  We watched a local band by the name of Callahan and o’Connor.  Very fun.  Lastly, my parents and I met our friend Ken at Rockne’s for dinner.

A year ago today, around 5:15pm, I had an accident where I slid and fell off of a wall behind my apartment complex.  The wall was 12-16 feet high.  I shattered both ankles and broke my left leg.

After being given only a 40% chance of ever walking again, I can proudly say that a year later I am walking around and living my life.  Much thanks goes out to all of those people who supported me through my tough time and especially to my two doctors who operated on me.  They did a great job and their work is much apprciated.

Off to a party at my parents to celebrate the fact that I’m walking, a year later, and to celevrate my father recieving tenure at the University of Akron…
